Check out this new option for men's dresswear before they pop out.

Has Don Draper taught you nothing? Women aren't swooning over his respect for the ladies, parenting skills and/or crafty wordsmithing. It's that suave style, baby! Columbus shoppers have a new option for reaching those dapper heights at Pursuit's new pop-up shop in the South Campus Gateway, which opened last week. The Pursuit guys--owner Nate DeMars, chief creative officer Shay Merritte, brand manager David Luksenburg and director of marketing Anil Das--have got a really fun brand going. (More on their origin story here, dear devoted Alive reader.) Their mission is to provide an inexpensive modern day suit shop to modern young guys--college dudes and young professionals are their target. Formalwear a la Grandpa no more. Case in point: at our photo shoot with them last September, Merritte pulled off a grey suit, pink shirt, pink bow tie and Vans (Vans!) like a boss. Pursuit sells suits, shirts, skinny ties and belts from designers such as DKNY, Michael Kors and Calvin Klein as well as from fledgling labels like DiBi and Proof. Correct fit is their jam, and they offer tailoring services. There are also sunglasses and Homage OSU T-shirts available. Adding to the easygoing atmosphere is a photo booth where staff will take professional headshots or red carpet style shots you can put on your Facebook page so everyone sees how freaking cool you are. Fun shopping trivia: The owners designed those mobile clothing displays in collaboration with ReFab Studio of the Columbus Idea Foundry. Pursuit will be in the space until at least Ohio State's commencements in early June, DeMars said. Get suited: Pursuit
