Following the Wexner Center's annual anniversary party next Saturday, Nov. 10 (it's turning 23 this year!) will be Last Shot: A GenWex Party. From 10:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. dance away this evening designed specifically for young patrons of the arts. Last Shot will feature complimentary snacks, a cash bar and photo stations.

Oh, and freaking DJ Venus X.

Jazmin Venus Soto, AKA DJ Venus X, is a 26-year-old Dominican-Ecuadorian, Harlem native who is a rising badass in New York's underground music and art scene. If this recent New York Times profile on her is any indication, she throws a hell of a party. She mixes club beats with YouTube samples, newscast audio with hip-hop hooks.

She'll be joined by Columbus fave DJ Detox. Tickets are $30 and now available online here.
