Also: Hear a new song, "Nightwatch."

Columbus pop scrappers Connections already made their debut album Private Airplane available around town last month (and word is another record is in the can with interest from at least one noteworthy label), but they're rightly throwing a party to celebrateAirplane anyhow. The 84 Nash-Times New Viking-El Jesus megalith was already slated to perform Saturday, Nov. 17 at Double Happiness with fine Chicago music purveyors Cave and Running. So that'll be the release party now, which sounds like a splendid time.

As for the music therein, we've already heard "Stuck Lung" and "Miller's Grove." Now check out "Nightwatch," a basement-sized anthem that would fit right in on 84 Nash's seminal Band For Hire.

Don't want to wait for the show? Private Airplane is available now at record stores including Lost Weekend, Spoonful, Magnolia Thunderpussy, Elizabeth's and Used Kids. Oh, and we'd be remiss to mention it's getting national distribution soon via the esteemed Anyway Records.
