American badasses, all of them.
America's favorite rapper/rocker/country star/self-proclaimed badassKid Rock is set to headline Nationwide Arena on March 23.Tickets cost $39 or $89, and you can get them starting Friday at 10 a.m. Buckcherry and Hellbound Glory round out the bill.
A lot of the folks who like Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid would probably enjoy Free Energy too if they gave the Philly power pop band a chance. And they'll get their chance to give them a chance Jan. 22 at Ace of Cups. Opening the show will be another Philadelphia project, Sweatheart, featuring Columbus expat Thom Lessner (he drew the cartoons that hang all over his sister Liz's hot dog joint Dirty Franks). Those tickets cost a mere $6 advance, $8 at the door and are available now. To pregame, check out last week's Jams of the Week.
One more concert of note: Brainy pop dude Nick Zammuto, formerly of The Books, brings his new project Zammuto to the Wexner Center on April 12. Tickets cost $12. (Fun fact: Zammuto opened for Gotye and Chairlift at the LC back in September, so this is actually this band's second stop through town.)
