Mozart's Cafe makes "The Grand Budapest Hotel" inspired treat
As if you needed another reason to wish you were a Wes Anderson character.
Mozart's Cafe (4784 N. High St.) has re-created the delectable dessert from Anderson's latest tour de force, "The Grand Budapest Hotel. "The Courtesan au Chocolat" is a spot-on replica of the pastry Zero Moustafa's beloved Agatha prepared at Mendl's Bakery in the film.
The desserts consist of custard-filled elcairs, covered in pastel colored fondant icing, and will be released at The Drexel Theatre's (2254 E. Main St.) "All Things Wes Anderson" Shindig on March 27 at 7 p.m.
Now if we can get somebody to re-create "Boy With Apple."
If you want to make the pastry yourself, watch this step-by-step video:
In case you live under a rock and haven't seen it, here is the trailer.
