Including the Toast Bar, Nerdlesque, Jeezy and Christmas Ale tapping

Dan the Baker's Toast Bar opens today in Grandview! Courtesy of Dan the Baker.

My top picks for the weekend belong to an artisanal toast bar opening (believe it), a smattering of beer celebrations, some concerts and, of course, watching the Buckeyes take on the Spartans. As always, here's what I'd do this weekend, if I could be everywhere all the time.

Friday

Toast Bar opens in Grandview

Smirk at "artisanal toast" all you want, but I'm as excited as hell about the Toast Bar's opening Friday. Few things go better than quality, hearty toast and strong, black coffee, and Dan the Baker's is easily my favorite bread in the city (or, really, anywhere).
