Friday announcement cites "contractual differences" for why musician is off the lineup

One day after Fashion Meets Music Festival's initial lineup announcement, the second-year fest has had a performer drop off the bill. Father John Misty is no longer coming to Columbus Labor Day weekend.

Here's what FMMF officials said to Alive in a statement sent via email:

Following the initial Fashion Meets Music Festival (FMMF) music lineup announcement made yesterday (March 26, 2015), the FMMF team has been looking forward to announcing additional artists who will be performing at this year's Festival. One of those confirmed artists was Father John Misty. Unfortunately, due to contractual differences, Father John Misty will not be playing FMMF 2015. Like any festival, FMMF's lineup is subject to change and we will continue to share lineup updates in the coming months.

Announced FMMF performers include Young the Giant, Awolnation, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Rachel Platten, O.A.R., Taking Back Sunday, SOJA, Our Vintage Film, Carbon Tigers, The Nearly Deads, Playing to Vapors, Northern Whales, Nick D' & the Believers, Captain Kidd and Truslow.

This year's FMMF takes place over the course of two days (Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 5 and 6), mostly around the Arena District area.In addition, FMMF will host official after parties at venues city-wide on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of festival weekend.

Early Bird tickets for the two-day event are on sale now, and are priced at $49 for a single-day general admission ($99 VIP) and $89 for a two-day general admission ($175 VIP). Children under 10 will be admitted free with a ticketed adult. These prices are expected to increase as the festival date draws closer.

Expect more artists to be added to the roster in the coming months, with a final lineup featuring more than 45 musical performers. A full slate of fashion designers and retailers is also forthcoming, with an announcement currently scheduled for April 7.
