The Fashion Meets Music Festival recently announced a handful of additions to its lineup, highlighted by headlining turns from Atlanta rapper Ludacris, Los Angeles singer Andy Grammer and Oklahoma-born art-rocker St. Vincent, fresh off a much-lauded appearance at the Nelsonville Music Festival.
The trio joins previously announced headliners Young the Giant, Awolnation, O.A.R., Soja and Taking Back Sunday for the two-day fest, which returns to the Arena District for its second go round this Labor Day weekend.
Other additions to the lineup include Philly dream-pop crew Vacationer, Michigan indie-rockers Mike Mains & the Branches, and catharsis-seeking Ohio rockers Narrow/Arrow, among others. Check out the entire lineup by clicking here.
Snagging St. Vincent is a definite coup for the festival, which had promised further lineup announcements following the March addition and subsequent parting of ways with Father John Misty owing to "contractual differences" (FJM recently announced a headlining show at LC Pavilion on Sept. 23).
For the 2015 event FMMF organizers significantly scaled things back from last year's debut. The festival will take place over the course of two days (Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 5 and 6) rather than three, and the overall footprint is also markedly smaller, centering on four Arena District-located stages rather than extending into venues like the Greater Columbus Convention Center and LC Pavilion, both of which hosted activities in 2014.
Additionally, the festival has adopted a more traditional ticket pricing structure. Early Bird tickets are priced at $49 for a single-day general admission ($99 VIP) and $89 for a two-day general admission ($175 VIP). Children under 10 will be admitted free with a ticketed adult. These prices are expected to increase as the festival date draws closer.
