The Rossi's intriguing new cocktail list includes a margarita mutant called the "Pawn Shop," which mixed smashed green peppers with tequila, yuzu and elderflower liqueur. The effect is an unusual but delicious slurp.
Soup of the day: Gazpacho--loved it!
Pork Confit sandwich on a perfectly flaky yet sturdy roll-- like bbq on a bun dressed up, but in a good way
Sturgeon dinner special: with sultry collard greens and explosive sherry-vinegar marinated cherry tomatoes.
If, like me, you love the Rossi for its great burgers and pizza, but have had mixed results with its more ambitious fare, then head back there soon -- the Rossi's got a terrific new chef who has made this place exciting again.
