Artist: Stereolab Track: "Three Women" Album: Chemical Chords Listen
Chris DeVille and I are both of voting age, which means we don't have to get out of the Grandview community pool during rest period. Instead, after I go off the sweet high dive a couple times, we spend time racing each other through the shallow end and talking about music.
A recent topic was the greatness of Stereolab, band who embodies some of his and my favorite sounds: smooth, pop-rock of the 1960s (me) and modern, sythnesized indie-rock beats of today (DeVille).
Anyone unfamiliar with the group should go buy Dots and Loops right now. All fans should be happy to know that a new studio release titled Chemical Chords has been planned for release in August. Full info and tracklisting can be found here.
