What was the motivation behind your extensive draft beer selection?

A love for beer. We always had about 80 to 100 beers in a bottle ... but no matter how many beers I would get in a bottle, people would always ask, "What do you have on draft?"

Once we decided we were going to add more drafts, we thought, There's enough space so let's add a lot more drafts.

What makes beer so lovable?

The one thing about beer is that it's approachable and people aren't as caught up in it as wine. There's not as formal a structure to it, which is a great thing because it allows everybody to enjoy it. If you enjoy any type of beer, you're equally as qualified to talk about beer.

What beers do customers order here?

Bell's Two Hearted is one of our most popular, and Bell's Oberon is right up there during the summer months. Pabst Blue Ribbon is always kind of there, too.

What do you like to drink?

It depends on the mood. In the summer I tend to go for pilsners and lagers with the occasional porter or stout thrown in. I used to be a bourbon-only drinker, but I branched out into vodka. I'm more of a beer and shot drinker.

What do you do when you're not at work?

I've been pretty boring lately; it's been a lot of family. It's gotten a little better recently, but the first year my son was born I went out five times. I think the last time I went out was to just see some shows - a couple shows at Skully's and a couple shows at the LC.

What's the best concert you've seen this summer?

I saw Black Keys not too long ago; that was a good show. I saw a Yeasayer concert last week that I liked a lot.
