Hearing Limp Bizkit's tragic cover circa 2003, you can imagine The Who's surviving members thinking to themselves, "Well, at least things can't get any worse." They were wrong. "My Generation" is a song that in many ways embodies the ethos of rock music, and here it gets a treatment by one of history's least consequential singers. Among the travesties is replacing John Entwistle's legendary bass riffs with a synth no more sophisticated than a ringtone.
