Warm, sunny days with lovely autumn leaves?

Sip some apple wine

At Camp Jack, wine grows on trees. Well, apples grow on trees, and the Walla Walla, Washington, business makes wine with them. Ohio is one of only four locations where the sweet new sipper has launched. Bottles are available at local liquor shops, as well as many Whole Foods and Giant Eagle stores. Check out campjack.com.

Try a great pumpkin beer

Pumpkin beers abound at your local bottle shop, and among the best is Pumking, an imperial pumpkin ale from Southern Tier Brewing Company. This hefty ale clocks in at 8.6 percent ABV and packs a spicy, seasonal punch. Visit southerntierbrewing.com. Learn what gravestones really mean Graveyard art is old, exquisite and (fun fact alert!) instructive. A representative from The Association for Gravestone Studies will share the meanings behind what has been carved for the deceased during a seminar at the Grandview Heights Public Library at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27. Find details at ghpl.org.
