Jacksonís late-career renaissance continued with a celebrated theater tour, a stint opening for Adele (!) and, most surprisingly, an even better album, 2012ís Unfinished Business, a more-roots-oriented effort that teamed the singer with Nashville musician Justin Townes Earle. Judging from the titles of her twin comeback recordings, Jackson, who famously dated Elvis Presley as a teenager, isnít through quite yet, and itíll be interesting to see what musical avenue the singer intends to pursue next.
