After existing as a one-man recording project for a number of years, So Cow, the brain child of Irish musician Brian Kelly, has finally expanded into a full-on band.

The trio, which now includes bassist Jonny White and drummer Peter O’Shea, recorded its latest, The Long Con, alongside Deerhoof’s Greg Saunier in Ballyheigue, a coastal village in County Kerry, Ireland, adopting an anything-goes mindset that fuels the crew’s restless brand of infectious garage-pop. Witness the album’s lead single, “Barry Richardson,” a buzzy power-pop anthem that should have many in the audience pogoing along.

The Young, Day Creeper and TSS also perform.
