Mark Perro and Nick Chiericozzi must enjoy giving search engines fits.

The two musicians, who front the nearly Google-proof band the Men, recently launched a new side project called Dream Police, which takes its name from an album by those power-pop classicists in Cheap Trick. The duo’s music is far removed from this polished, arena-ready sphere, however, and songs like “Hypnotized,” the title cut off the band’s just-released debut, find the two working up a gritty, unkempt blues-rock stomp.
