The Columbus Food League announced that it has sold the Jury Room to a new owner. The restaurant is temporarily closed, but will open later this month as a different concept. Employees from the Jury Room are being shifted to the new Chintz Room. Owner Liz Lessner also shared that she'll eventually begin spending time in California helping establish a lemon farming operation.

Hot Chicken Takeover announced they're setting up shop at North Market for the winter months. The current take-out window in the Near East Side Co-op in Olde Towne East will operate through Sunday, Nov. 23. The market location will open in early December and run through May 2015. It will include expanded seating, more ordering windows and the addition of Friday hours.

The Commissary launches with the Block Party on Sunday, Nov. 16. The party will feature live music from Earwig, tours of the facility, food trucks, poetry by Amy Turn Sharp, local crafters, a Columbus Knife Fight Competition, and more. Tickets are available through thecommissarycolumbus.com.

Restoration Brew Worx in Delaware was announced this week. The brewery and restaurant will be located at 25 N. Sandusky St. in downtown Delaware, and include a 10-barrel brewing system for making both beer and sodas. Renovations have just begun, with a projected late winter/early spring opening in 2015.

Condado Tacos, a Day of the Dead-themed Mexican restaurant, will open Nov. 28 in the former Circus Bar space. The Short North restaurant will feature custom-made tacos and margaritas.

The newest Tom + Chee location opens this Friday, Nov. 14 at 1980 N. High St. across from Ohio State's campus. The Cincinnati-based chain serves homemade soups and funky grilled cheese sandwiches, including their famed donut sandwiches.

Whole Foods Market Dublin hosts the Foodie Finds Tasting from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15. The strolling event will feature tastings of caviar, sparkling wines, oysters, cheeses and more.

Arizona-based Kona Grill is opening at Easton on Tuesday, Nov. 18. The location at 4087 New Bond St. is the first in Ohio. Kona's menu focuses on sushi, cocktails and Asian fusion dishes like Big Island Meatloaf and Miso-Sake Sea Bass.
