Amy D's aprons, $28-$38

You never want to be too far from your beer when cooking. Local crafting queen Amy D has fashioned beer pocket aprons in creative colors, patterns and themes. The built-in pocket keeps your bottled brew snug by your side. Buy the aprons through her website or pick up one at Shift Studios, Sassafras Bakery or Wholly Craft.

Get canned, $8.99-$12.99

Cans are becoming the rage in craft beer right now. They're lighter, more easily recycled and they preserve beer better by blocking out light. Four String, Seventh Son and Elevator Brewing have taken to canning their products, making them available on most grocery store shelves. Do your part, though, and buy from a local bottle shop like Crafted Drafts. Other options: get bottled, too! Elevator, Rockmill and CBC all hit the bottle.
