This yearly exhibition features selected works from the 10 recipients of John Fergus Family Fund Scholarship Awards, a juried competition open to all studio-based visual art and design majors, as well as the John F. Fergus Family Fellowship awarded to Samantha Parker Salazar. The scholarship recipients represent a diverse group of practices, and Salazar takes her own unique approach, blending innovative printmaking techniques with cut-paper construction to create intricate installations. Salazar's complex pieces examine the "conceptual power of beauty, destruction, and potential [of] simple material."
