While some people are still celebrating the New Year, Minneapolis pop-punk crew Motion City Soundtrack is ready to party like it's 2005. The band launched its current tour, which hits the Newport on Monday, Jan. 19, to mark the 10-year anniversary of its sophomore album Commit This to Memory. Though produced by Blink-182 goofball Mark Hoppus, many of the LP's pogoing songs are undercut with confusion and sadness.
