Worthington has worked in multiple mediums over the years; and “Urban Sprawls” finds the artist focusing on a new approach specifically for this exhibit. Presenting urban settings in an abstract and/or expressionistic style, “Urban Sprawls” is occupied by many interpretations of the inner-city environment. Yet there are some familiar elements. The vibrant color palette and vivid brushstrokes are still present in Worthington’s paintings, while his three-dimensional pieces are buoyed by the sleek, polished metals.

An opening reception will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24.
