Dara Robinson's day job as an x-ray technician limits her work-attire choices to scrubs or another pair of scrubs. But once she clocks out, it's all about color and girly frills. The 31-year-old is a member of the Columbus chapter of Patriot Pin Up, a non-profit organization serving veterans with a vintage twist. When she isn't volunteering with her fellow pinup pals or at work, you'll likely find Robinson at Bossy Grrl's Pin Up Joint enjoying a cocktail or competing at the Miss Autorama pinup contest

Hair color: Special Effects Candy Apple Red

Hair style: Laura at Rendezvous Salon. “This shade of red matches my personality much better than my natural color.”

Hair accessory: DIY. “A big flower clip is a quick fix for a bad hair day.”

Faux lashes: Sally Beauty Supply. “When it comes to faux lashes, the longer the better.”

Lipstick: Maybelline “Very Cherry.” “All pinups need the perfect shade of red lipstick.”

Earrings: Thrifted. “I like anything vintage that sparkles.”

Necklace: Gifted. “My grandmother gave me this mustard seed necklace when she was sick. She used to wear it all the time so it reminds me of her.”

Dress: Heartofhaute.com. “I love this dress because the ribbon collar makes me feel like Little Red Riding Hood and the flowers match my hair. I added a crinoline petticoat because I just like my dress to be as poofy as my hair.

Shoes: Shi. “Every girl needs a pair of red heels.”

Tattoo: By Cary Aldridge at Memento Tattoo & Gallery. “Obviously, I love pinups and I wanted to incorporate my career into the tattoo as well. I came up with the concept and Cary drew it from scratch. I absolutely love his work.”
