Local artist Adam Kolp hasn't had the easiest path. As a teenager, he was diagnosed with a degenerative eye disease that affects the corneas, and eventually lost his vision in college. Having been drawing since he was a toddler, Kolp was still able to create art during his ordeal. After two corneal transplants, Kolp regained his vision and will hold his first solo art show celebrating how these experiences have given him a new perspective on both his life and his art. A reception will be held 7-9 p.m. Saturday, March 7.
