Swanson is also opening Tavernesque at 260 S. Fourth St. in the early summer, next to the new brick-and-mortar Mikey's Late Night Slice. He describes it as a hip neighborhood diner, open from lunch to late night during the week, and from brunch to late night on weekends.

North Market announced the replacement for The Greener Grocer this week: Little Eater Produce and Provisions. Chef Cara Mangini’s Little Eater just opened at the market last month; she’s now extending her reach by maintaining the produce and pantry items, too.

Columbus Brewing Company Restaurant is hosting its first beer dinner on Monday, March 30. The all-inclusive $65 ticket gets you a four-course meal paired with Ohio beers from CBC, MadTree, Jackie O’s and Fat Head’s.

House Wine in Worthington launched a new happy hour this week. Offered 2-6 p.m. Monday through Friday, the happy hour includes 25 percent off wine pours from its Enomatic dispenser.

In case you missed it: the original Mikey’s Late Night Slice shack has been torn down (except for the front ordering window). It will be replaced by a series of shipping containers modified to host the kitchen and patio space in the alley.

Cookapp, the platform allowing chefs to host public meals in their own homes, is launching in Columbus in mid-April. Chefs propose a menu and a home in which to host it, and then Cookapp promotes and tickets it.

Rigsby’s Kitchen announced the hiring last week of Silas Caeton as executive chef. Caeton previously served at Veritas Tavern in Delaware.

Bibibop Asian Grill announced the addition of two new locations this year, at 6977 E. Broad St. in Reynoldsburg and 6490 Sawmill Rd. in Dublin.

Hemingway’s Coffee Nook is now open at 175 S. Third St. downtown in the 175 on the Park building.

Harold’s American Grille was announced for Olde Worthington, at 671 High St., former site of the Damsels In This Dress store. The restaurant is slated to open mid-May.
