In 2013 Kendrick Lamar turned up on “Control” only to ether most every MC in the game, including his host, spitting, “And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big KRIT, Wale, Pusha T, Meek Millz, A$AP Rocky, Drake, Big Sean…”

Rather than retreating, however, Big Sean rose to the challenge, issuing his strongest collection of songs to date (check the undeniable “Paradise”) and enjoying a sold-out appearance at the LC.
