Scotland's BrewDog announced this week they are making central Ohio the home of their U.S. production brewery, on a 42-acre site in Canal Winchester. BrewDog owner James Watt said the brewery will be roughly 100,000 square feet, house a 100-barrel brew system and canning line, plus a visitors center and an "epic" taproom. The Columbus site will be the base of their U.S. operations; the company also plans to open five brewpubs across the U.S.

Old North Arcade opened last week at 2591 N. High St. The bar and arcade features over 30 games and a selection of 20 draft beers.

Grandview Digfest takes place this Saturday, June 13 from 4-10:30 p.m. at Grandview Yard. The festival includes local food vendors and breweries, as well as wine and spirits.

The Columbus Arts Festival is this weekend, too, with a variety of food vendors joining the riverfront festival June 12-14.

Last week The Carvery added dinner hours Wednesdays through Fridays, 6-9 p.m.

Fusian fast casual sushi opened its newest Columbus store on Wednesday, June 10 in the Easton Gateway development. Fusian is also opening a Grandview location in August and a Clintonville spot this fall.

The Chop Shop burger restaurant opened at 2159 N. High St. just north of Lane Ave.

Alegria's Seafood moved from Dublin to the Carriage Place Shopping Center.

Lomonico's Eatery is aiming for a July opening for their new downtown location at 340 E. Gay St.

The Boulevard Grill, a casual restaurant attached to the Get Air Adrenaline Trampoline Park, was announced for 3708 Fishinger Blvd. near Hilliard.

Holy Smoke Barbecue in Gahanna has rebranded as Barrel & Boar and developed a new menu.
