This Thursday, Aug. 6 is National IPA Day! Columbus breweries are celebrating with specialty beers, keg tappings and other hoppy merriment. Check out some of the ways you can celebrate around town:

Zauber Brewing is offering liter specials on their Berzerker Belgian IPA and they're tapping a small batch of Harvest Kolsch, hopped with Cascade hops grown by Grandpop's Hops in Marysville.

Four String Brewing will feature four IPAs at their taproom: their Big Star Belgian White IPA, Switchblade American IPA, Skeleton Red Rye IPA and Infinite Lives Double IPA.

Smokehouse Brewing will celebrate Hop-IPA-Looza, with about 10 IPAs on tap, plus a special IPA float made with Scottish ale ice cream and their summer IPA.

Pigskin Brewing taps a one-off beer, the malt-forward Union Jack IPA, on Wednesday.

North High Brewing is releasing a black IPA that's wet hopped with Cascade hops from Grandpop's Hops.

The St. James Tavern is hosting an IPA tap takeover, with about 10 IPAs on tap. Local brews like Seventh Son's Syzygy, CBC's Lucy and Hoof Hearted's Musk of the Minotaur will be featured.

Wolf's Ridge Brewing will have eight IPAs on tap total. Four are brewery standards: the Driftwood session IPA, Eathrise IPA, Howling Moon imperial IPA and New Moon black IPA. They'll also feature four special cask or infused IPAs, like the Howling Moon with habanero, Earthrise with peach or with basil and Thai chili and Driftwood with a grapefruit infusion.

Happy National IPA Day, Columbus!
