Though I'm sure the rest of the 1D crew – Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan – will arrange their voices to fill the void, it's going to be just a tad heartbreaking to not see Malik come to the forefront at the beginning of "Night Changes." It definitely won't ruin the night at all, because while it's easy to brush off boy bands as trite, hyper-manicured and otherwise uninspired, I can at least promise that 1D is not that. It'll be a blast of bubblegum and power pop, the only hindrance to which will be the presumably gargantuan population of screeching prepubescents filling the 'Shoe - so yeah, although it's not set in a blown-out dive bar, bring the ear plugs anyway. Oh, and go early because the fantastic pop duo Icona Pop is opening.
