Little Brother Dan Dougan Presents the Art Stache, PM Gallery

A mutual friend connected the good folks at PM Gallery with former Stache's/Little Brother's impresario Dan Dougan for this exhibition of art pieces from Dougan's personal collection.

"These are really neat pieces, most by local artists (including Charles Wince and Daniel Gerdeman) from the '90s, stuff that hung at either Little Brother's or Stache's," said gallery owner Maria Galloway, adding that the show is not club memorabilia, although she allowed that "Dan has threatened to bring in some autographed photographs."

Galloway said Dougan is a longtime acquaintance who has "become more like friends" in the process of developing this exhibition.

Keith Lemley and Lexi Stoia, ROY G BIV

Light and space are concerns of these two northeast-Ohio natives.

Lemley's "Penumbral" neon tube installation features freestanding multicolor works in angular forms, patterned after the "underlying geometry of the universe."

Stoia's "Corn Meditations" concerns the corn harvest in a fictitious community of Midwesterners who developed a series of harvest rituals. Her pieces incorporate natural materials from the harvest, with light and sound for meditation.
