Honeyrun Farm's lavender infused honey

It's sweet with a smooth lavender taste at the end. I can't want to make ice cream with it or drizzle it on top of homemade ice cream. - Alyse Kordenbrock

Brassica

You may think the counter-service Chipotle-style thing is played out until you put Brassica's insanely good Mediterranean food in your face. The hype is more than deserved. - Brad Keefe

Cara cara oranges

The citrus fruit so good they named it twice! This navel orange variety will enchant with its juicy, rose-colored fruit and balanced sweet-tartness. Slice up a handful of them, scatter with pomegranate arils, drizzle with a bit of honey (see Alyse's pick, above) and call it a dinner party dessert. - Kristen Schmidt

"The Leftovers"

The HBO series, which just wrapped up its second season, is as weird, wonderful and thought-provoking as anything on television. It might be my pick for the best show of 2015, and I hope the network renews it for a third season. - Andy Downing

Good Christmas Music

It's out there, often hidden amid 15 renditions of "Jingle Bell Rock" and "Holly Jolly Christmas," but it's out there nonetheless. Acoustic artists like Andrew Peterson and Billy Pilgrim have some worthy entries. Any choral selections led by Robert Shaw. Duke Ellington's "The Nutcracker Suite." - Jim Fischer
