It's a Feline Franklinton Friday in January, as 400 West Rich hosts the Amazing Cat Show.

Cat-themed art in a variety of mediums will fill the spaces at the warehouse-studio space-gallery this Friday. Paintings, drawings, photography, video, installations, sculpture - you name it, 400 West Rich will have it, floor-to-ceiling, with half of all sales to be donated to Colony Cats (and Dogs), a nonprofit with a catch-and-release program for feral kitties, cat and dog adoptions and low-cost spay and neuter services. Cats will be available for adoption during the event. The exhibition will be on view every Saturday in January from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Rehab Tavern, 456 W. Town St., joins the theme, with cat-inspired art work by Jen Wrubleski and Mary Barszak on display during Franklinton Friday. Visit rehabtavern.com for more information.

The Vanderelli Room, 218 McDowell St., also hosts a two-person show during January. In celebration of the 10th anniversary of artists Cyndi Bellerose and Lou McAfee, Vanderelli will host an exhibition of works by the couple made since their 2005 nuptials. Visit thevanderelliroom.com for details.

Another highlight of January's Franklinton Friday is This Leads to That, a juried glass art exhibition in the Kennedy Galleries at Glass Axis, 610 W. Town St. This exhibition explores the artists' inspiration behind specific pieces. Visit glassaxis.org for more information.
