In 2015 the thrash metal masters celebrated the 30th anniversary of their sophomore full-length Spreading the Disease, a mashup of guillotine-sharp guitars, relentless drumming and theatrical vocals courtesy of frontman Joey Belladonna. Rather than slipping into nostalgia, however, the milestone appears to have served as creative motivation, fueling a new studio album - the group's 11th and its first since Worship Music surfaced in 2011 - due out at the end of February.
