Alive recommends:"Captain America: Civil War"
The latest chapter in the Marvel Universe is awfully crowded, with a full dozen superheroes represented, but it's also awfully good. You won't be disappointed. (3 ½ stars)
"Green Room"
This pulse-pounding thriller from the director of "Blue Ruin" is heavy on the tension and intensity as a touring punk band ends up witness to a murder. (3 1/2 stars)
"Everybody Wants Some!!"
Richard Linklater's charming sort-of sequel to "Dazed and Confused" is down to its last few theatrical showings in Columbus. More people need to see this. (3 1/2 stars)
"The Jungle Book"
Jon Favreau did a great job directing this CGI-created "live action" version of the beloved story, and the voice cast, including Bill Murray and Christopher Walken, is pretty much genius. (3½ stars)

Also in theaters:"Sing Street"
Irish writer/director/composer John Carney has made some truly lovely cinematic love letters to music ("Once," "Begin Again"). His latest centers on a boy growing up in Dublin who starts a band to impress a girl.
"The Huntsman: Winter's War"
This prequel/sequel to the action take on the Snow White legend doesn't even have Snow White. It's a movie that's not very good built on a concept no one was really excited about in the first place.
