ComFest after parties have become as ingrained as any other ComFest tradition (Fishboat sandwiches, patchouli, that one topless girl), so if you're not done rockin' on Friday night, you could do much worse than the Japanese B-Sides, a band fronted by Ryan Horns (Paper Airplane, the Last Hotel) that plays "lesser-known songs from hit bands and hits from lesser-known bands" of the '60s and '70s. Think "My Sharona" by the Knack and "Love Me Till the Sun Shines" by the Kinks. Opening the show are Closet Mix, a new local band featuring Paul Nini (Great Plains) and Keith Novicki (Vena Cava), and the Clash cover band Johnny Clash. (Safe bet)
