The inaugural season of Tantrum Theater continues with this moving and powerful play by Irish playwright Brian Friel.

Set in 1936 Ireland, "Dancing at Lughnasa" follows the five Mundy sisters as they dance through heartwarming and heart-rending memories, set against the backdrop of the approach of World War II and the real-life harvest-time Lughnasa Festival. (Incidentally, the play premiered in the Dublin, Ireland, Abbey Theater in 1990).

Sheila Daniels directs this cast of local and visiting actors, including Central Ohio theater vet Jonathan Putnam.
