Ohio State University's Arts Initiative hosts this mixed-media exhibition of works by artist Ann Kim, now a Dayton resident but raised primarily in Seoul and Los Angeles.

The pieces in "Transformations" examine that very process through the lens of the intersection or, often, collision of cultures and belief systems. Iconic mythological figures are represented as breaking, transforming, reassembling and, in some cases, disappearing.

Myth and superstition are recurring themes in Kim's work.
