"I've produced comedy all across the country and Columbus has great talent," producer Natalie Heflin said.

Heflin said this year's lineup is fresh, as almost all of the performers, including all of the event's headliners, are new from last year's festival. Headliners include three Los Angeles-based performers: Rhea Butcher, an Akron native who does standup, web series hosting and acting; Ryan Singer, a comic and frequent podcast guest; and Renee Gauthier and comedian and television writer.

"It's a special weekend, a great weekend of shows that normally wouldn't all come to together in Columbus," Heflin said.

She said each show is booked to feature variety and diversity, both in style and material as well as gender and personal background.

"Every show in unique," she said.

The festival will also include the recording of a pair of podcasts and a screening of Butcher's new streaming series, "Take My Wife."
