The rock 'n' roll boutique shop owners share their favorite things.

Heather Ziegler and Mike Renner are the founders of What the Rock?!, a hip and unique rock 'n' roll boutique. After opening their store in the Short North over a decade ago, the couple recently moved it to a new location in Clintonville. Now situated just a few doors south of Studio 35 at 3039 Indianola Ave., WTR?! is also home to the new Nix Comics shop. They will be hosting a Grand Re-Opening Pizza Party on Saturday, Jan. 28 from 6-8 p.m. Here are a few of Ziegler and Renner's favorite things.

The Art of Bryan Grey

We've known Bryan for as long as we've been in business. He has had many art shows at What the Rock?! and is responsible for most of our branding and store window displays. But what we love most is his chalk art! You can find his work in various businesses around the city, including Three Sheets bar in the Brewery District.

Killer Craft Show

Killer Craft Show is a Halloween-themed event established in 2013 to satiate a desire for all things dark, weird and macabre. We created KCS to showcase Columbus' best arts and crafts vendors in the genre. It comes to life each October to celebrate the spirit of the season.

“Seinfeld”

We can't go a day without quoting the show about nothing in everyday conversation with each other. Yada, yada, yada ... we still watch it on Hulu.

Sleater-Kinney

The first time we saw Sleater-Kinney perform was an in-store show at the San Francisco Amoeba Records in 1997. We've been hooked ever since. The energy and passion of their live show keeps us going back to see them over and over again. One of the best memories we have was when we drove 11 hours from Northern California to Portland to see the final show before their eight-year hiatus. The Thermals opened and Eddie Vedder introduced them with an acoustic ukulele set! It was truly special.

Monday Happy Hour at Old Skool

Old Skool has the best daily special and happy hour combo in the city. We like to go on Mondays, our day off, to eat 50-cent wings and drink $3 craft drafts. They have a rotating beer selection and great customer service. Yes, we love these things very much. They recently expanded their menu, too. Try the fried pickles with lemon aioli; they are addictive!
