The Daily Growler holds the grand opening of its third location on Friday, Sept. 8. Located at 702 S. High St., the growler store features patio space and in-house food from Big Mamma's Burritos.

Campus-area bar Chumley's re-opened last week in a new location at 1516 N. High St.

The Ohio Bacon Festival returns this Friday, Sept. 8, from 4-10 p.m. at the Columbus Commons. The event features both food trucks and brick-and-mortar restaurant vendors, as well as a bacon-eating contest.

The Corner Deli at 152 E. State St. Downtown has closed but will re-open soon under new ownership.

Alive Craft Beer Night takes place from 3:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 8 during the Dispatch Fall Home Show & Pet Alley at the Ohio Expo Center.
