Dance company presents premiere works at the Columbus Idea Foundry

Columbus Modern Dance Company opens its fifth season continuing its tradition of presenting its fall program in nontraditional spaces.

Co-founder Laura Puscas said the program will include a world premiere commission by Chicago dancer Ellen Vierse titled “Elles Parlent,” which translates to “They Speak.” Set to the music of French singer Camille, the piece examines communication between women. Also featured will be Robert Poe's solo work “Night Bloom,” a choreographic representation of a time-lapse revealing the blooming of an orchid.
