Wexner Center welcomes inventive German artist/essayist for talk
German artist and filmmaker Hito Steyerl spends nearly as much time thinking about art and its place in, impact on and relationship to broader culture as she does making art. Which is actually a pretty good thing.
While simultaneously recognizing and challenging existing power structures, Steyerl's film and installation work seeks new ways of thinking about art. She should have a lot to say in this artist's talk.
