Joe Peppercorn, Saturday Giant, Colin Gawel, Quinn Fallon and more pay tribute to the late Andyman
John “Andyman” Davis, the beloved local DJ with a larger-than-life personality, would have turned 50 on Thursday, April 26. To pay tribute to the man, Quinn Fallon, who once ran Andyman's Treehouse alongside its namesake and now owns Italian Village bar Little Rock, is throwing a party with some don't-miss musical performances.
Joe Peppercorn will perform his own music and some select Beatles songs from Sgt. Peppercorn's Marathon in tribute to Andyman. Plus, Marathon musicians Phil Cogley and Carrie Ayers will sit in with Peppercorn's band, the Whiles, for old and new material (Peppercorn wrote and recorded 52 songs (!) last year). He also promises a complete performance of Abbey Road.
Plus, sets from Watershed's Colin Gawel, Cogley as the Saturday Giant and a version of Fallon's Los Gravediggers, billed as Dos Gravediggers. Nicholas Nocera of Alison Rose will also screen-print limited-edition posters for the event on-site, and Little Rock will be serving a selection of beers from Seattle's Elysian Brewing. Proceeds help fund a donation to a scholarship fund for Andyman's kids.
