Gallery hosts duo exhibition of works that examine identity, place

Sujung Chang and Pedram Sazesh met at an artist residency program, bonding over their shared visa status (Chang had come to the U.S.-based residency from South Korea, Sazesh from Canada) and shared academic and artistic interests, if not mediums. After working on a set of writing together, Chang said, “We wanted to make our own works and see how they would talk in space.” That’s the thought behind “A Mobius Strip,” in which artists with similar ideas but very different means of expression discuss the personal and political of “being in two places at once but yet not anywhere,” Chang said.
