'Gay' send-up of classic theater trope fuels production

“Family gathers after the death of a loved (or not) one for the reading of a will” is a well-worn trope for playwrights. But David S. Harewood puts a funny, gay spin on it in “The Vultures,” which also updates “The Cat and the Canary” and “The Bat.” Evolution Theatre Company's presentation of the Midwest premiere of Harewood's play closes this weekend.
