The local artist's recent solo exhibition at Autumn Rush Vineyard closes this weekend

Don “DonCee” Coulter has been a busy man since we profiled the fabric artist earlier this year, exhibiting his one-of-a-kind pieces in Ann Arbor, Indianapolis, Washington, D.C., and northern Illinois. Locally, Coulter will wrap up a solo exhibition, “Fabric Art by DonCee,” this weekend at Autumn Rush Vineyard, a family-owned Licking County winery northeast of New Albany. You’ll find several of Coulter’s works on display, including “Introspective,” the piece that Alive tracked throughout its creation in our March cover story.

“This exhibit is special because the real treasure is the venue,” Coulter said.

From 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, Coulter will be on hand for the exhibition’s closing reception, of sorts, featuring a performance from R&B duo Vernon Hairston and Olivia Darla. Food truck Ena’s Outtaroad will also be on site at Autumn Rush, serving jerk chicken and pork to accompany Autumn Rush Vineyard's Ohio-made wines.
