Zac Brown Band, Smug Brothers and others cancel scheduled Columbus appearances

Concert cancellations due to fears over COVID-19 are beginning to trickle in, the biggest one being Friday's scheduled concert at Nationwide Arena: Zac Brown Band with Amos Lee. The entire spring leg of Brown's "The Owl Tour" is being postponed.

As far as local bands, Smug Brothers canceled its spot on the Friday bill with Joseph Airport at Spacebar, and according to Bobby Miller of Archie Fox Live, tonight's scheduled show at Ace of Cups with Courtney from Work, Jennifer Hall and Rat Motel has been canceled.

Canceled/postponed concerts are noted with strikethrough text below. We'll update this post if/when others follow suit.

*Update, 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 11: Melted Music Festival, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, has been canceled. For further information, see Archie Fox Live.

*Update Friday, March 13: All PromoWest shows are canceled through the end of April, and Ace of Cups shows are canceled through March 19. Otherworld's show tonight with Golf Clap is also canceled. Celebrity Etc. has said that some of its shows will continue at Rumba Cafe with a 100-person cap, though the Caroline Rose show at Skully's is postponed. For all other shows, be sure to check the website of the venue and/or the promoter beforehand, as cancellations and postponements are being announced frequently.

**Update Monday, March 16: Given Gov. DeWine's orders for all bars and restaurants to close, in addition to the ban on gatherings over 100, it's safest to assume none of the shows listed below are happening. Check first before planning to attend any concert; but also, think twice before planning to attend any and all gatherings.
