Might as well shop online because what else is there to do?
Local screen printer Alison Rose created a batch of Alive Bands to Watch tees a couple of years back that you can still find some current and former staffers wearing around town. (Hi, Erica.)
More recently, the company launched a "Support Your Community" campaign designed to help raise funds for an assortment of local shops stung by COVID-19 closures. A portion of each sale goes to Alison Rose, and a portion to the participating businesses, whose logos appear on the front of the shirt. (We're partial to the Elizabeth's Records "Do you like cats?" design.)
Other participants include Pursuit, The Smithery, Lost Weekend Records, Cravings Carryout Cafe, Igloo Letterpress, musician Angela Perley, Sew to Speak, Brioso, Craftin' Outlaws and Spacebar, with more to come.
