Watch Caeleigh Featherstone transform a cinderblock wall into something beautiful

You may know Caeleigh Featherstone from Saintseneca — that's her voice on Pillar of Na standout "Frostbiter." Or maybe you remember her from her stint in WV White. But for more than a year Featherstone has been working on a solo project, Mukiss, with a debut EP, Happy Face, slated for release on June 18.

In advance of the EP, Mukiss recently released a gorgeous single, "Switzerland," available on streaming services. In the "Switzerland" video, Featherstone, who's also a visual artist, finds a gray cinderblock barrier, takes out some cans of spray paint and transforms a drab stretch of gray wall into a misty, magical piece of public art.

"Yellow spot on a red square, coral house on mossy ground/I'd give anything just to be there," Featherstone sings, and the combination of the song's lush chamber-folk and the purples, blues and greens of the image she paints will make you yearn to be there, too, on this similarly gray day.

Check out the video below, and to hear a Mukiss live set, head to the Strongwater Instagram page at 7:15 tonight, followed by Mery Steel at 8 p.m.
