The latest updates from the bar and restaurant scenes

Pierogi Mountain and Wunderbar are set to open on Friday, March 15, inside the new coworking space Kollektiv (741 S. Third St.) in German Village.Located in the 1880s building that was home to the original Max & Erma's, the coworking space will be open to members during the day with Wunderbar opening to the public at 4 p.m. on weekdays. The new bar concept will feature seven beers on tap, several craft cocktails, wines by the glass and daily happy hours. Pierogi Mountain will run the kitchen, with a menu that's split evenly between vegan and meat-based Polish fare, including traditional cheese and potato pierogies, plus out-of-the-box takes like fried chicken and waffle pierogies. House-made kielbasa (both pork and seitan) and comfort foods such as chicken paprikash and mushroom stroganoff round out the menu. Co-owner Matt Majesky says the original location inside Cafe Bourbon Street will remain open.

Cleveland-based brewery Saucy Brew Works announced this week that it's opening a brewpub this summer in the former home to Caffe Apropos in Harrison West, 443 W. Third Ave.

The grand opening for Condado Tacos' sixth Columbus-area location takes place Thursday, March 7, at 102 N. High St. Dublin. The new Bridge Park West location is Condado's 11th in the Midwest. The restaurant will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.; the kitchen closes at 1 a.m.

Two beloved Columbus eateries are expanding into the Cleveland area. Last week, Hot Chicken Takeover announced plans to open its first location outside of Central Ohio. Owner Joe DeLoss' Nashville-style hot chicken spot will open in Westlake, Ohio, this summer. This will be HCT's fourth location, joining the North Market, Clintonville and Easton. Meanwhile, Brassica's first location outside Columbus will open Friday, April 12, in Shaker Heights at Van Aken District's Market Hall.

Sexton's Pizza is now open at 8005 E. Broad St. in Reynoldsburg. Brothers Joey and Jamey Sexton own the new spot, which offers hand-tossed, Columbus-meets-New York style pizza.

Every Saturday this month, Mission Coffee Co. is offering specialty espresso drinks and a brew bar inside Little Eater's Clintonville location at 4215 N. High St.The pop-up takes place 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Village Wines & Bistro closed last week at 10 S. High St. in historic downtown Canal Winchester.
