Amid reports that Lucky’s Market will close the majority of its stores around the country, the Clintonville store (2770 N. High St.) sought to reassure customers in a Facebook post yesterday. “There has been some recent news circulating about Lucky’s stores closing,” the post states. “We want to assure you that your store in Columbus will remain open, and we look forward to serving you, our loyal customers.” The Kroger Co., an investor in Lucky’s Market since 2016, recently decided to divest its interest in the Colorado-based natural foods retailer.

Longtime Columbus pizzeria chain Massey's Pizza has set an opening date for its latest location. The pizzeria’s 10th Central Ohio shop is set to open on Monday, Feb. 3, at 219 S. Sandusky St. in Delaware.

The plant-based caterer Can't Believe It's Vegan is holding a pair of guest pop-ups at Hills Market Downtown (95 N. Grant Ave.). You can find CBIV at the market from 11:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, and Monday, Jan. 27.

This week, the Dallas-Fort Worth-based chain Cantina Laredo closed its Polaris restaurant (8791 Lyra Dr.) suddenly after more than 10 years in operation.
